Terry McSweeney of NBC Bay Area contacted me to speak about Puerto Rico and peoole on the mainland trying to reach family. I wish I was able to make it to speak to him but it didn't work. But I'm SO GLAD he's doing a segment on this horrible situation! NBC Bay Area @ 11PM.

I've been suffering health isues and haven't been on here for a while because of them.
I had surgery to fix the health issuse and was planning on taking time off to heal.
Sadly a few days after surgery my Grandmother that taught and inspired me to cook (and start a catering business) peacefully passed away 12/22/16.
As I prayed for her at her Mass last night and will say goodbye to her today I thought I'd share this with all of you.
My heart is beyond broken and I look forward to getting back to sharing my Grandma by keeping her alive through the food she used to show me her love through and later taught me to cook.
RIP Carmen Lozada Quiñones Negron Cemeño of Vega Baja Puerto Rico
Until we meet again. I will carry on your recipes and keep your love in my food! 😚💔
