National Mai Tai Day calls for the classic.

First created in the 1940s, the Mai Tai has become one of the defining drinks of tiki culture, built around the balance of aged rum, fresh lime, orange liqueur and orgeat.

Mai Tai Day calls for the rum made with the Mai Tai in mind.

Denizen Merchant’s Reserve brings together aged Jamaican pot still rum and rare Rhum Grande Arome from Martinique, the style of Martinique rum used by Trader Vic in the third iteration of his 1944 Mai Tai recipe.

The result: the first historically accurate Mai Tai rum sold commercially.

Just add orgeat, orange curaçao and fresh lime.
