The Good Roots Story

Lotus Chips are part of my own “roots” in Japan, where they are known as “Renkon” Chips. Renkon is the root of the lotus flower, known as a symbol of hope, resilience, serenity, and purity.

Good Roots company is rooted in two locations: San Francisco, where the company produces and distributes its products; and Japan, the source of many key ingredients and the inspiration for these snack chips.

I grew up in Japan and had lotus chips for special occasions. I decided to bring the tradition to my own family and friends in San Francisco, who encouraged me to make them more widely available … to you.
