Roberta, or better known as "Bert", knew her way around the kitchen and how to keep bellies happy and satisfied, while raising three boys. One request she received over and over again from family and friends was for her crunchy treat that she always kept on hand for guests. The demand for her Bites became so great, it was time to turn her Chunky Almond Snack into a business. As a wife, mother, and now grandmother, she relied on her family and friends to help her perfect her delightfully crunchy treat and Bert's Bites was born.

Bert's Bites are the embodiment of her desire to share. Packaged in beautifully giftable jars and bags, the blend of hearty and wholesome ingredients, the perfect amount of spice, and a great crunch, makes for an incredible, tasty snack. Roberta bakes everything in small batches in San Francisco, and customers across the country will tell you, "it's addictive!". Enjoyed by the handful or out of the jar, sprinkled on yogurt or ice cream, you decide how you want to indulge!
Bert's Bites is a woman-owned business that was born in 2015 out of Roberta's home kitchen. This award-winning snack (USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice) is filling orders nationwide. There are two flavors out in the market now, her original Chunky Almond Snack and Crunchy Maple Snack, which is a nut-free version.
