THROWBACK THURSDAY:

The year was 2022. The world held its breath.

FIFA called. We answered.
For the first time in history, referees were instructed to ditch yellow and red cards… and hand out Bald Guy cards instead.

Players weren’t punished. They were rewarded — for an extra funny corner kick, a sarcastic zinger to a player who missed an easy shot and the Player of the Match would receive a box set of 12 birthday cards.

Other reasons a player would receive one…
🤕 An Injury = Bald Guy “Get Well card”
😢 Missed Penalty Kick = Bald Guy “Miss You card”
😆 3 Goals = Bald Guy Congratulations card

And one referee gave himself a card just for vibing too hard.

Billions watched. The world changed.
And FIFA immediately went back to yellow and red cards. 🫡✨⚽️
