The runner-up dessert in 7 Mile House - Historic Sports Bar & Grill's Ube Bake-off in 2021, this layered dessert will have your spoon diving through: our signature ube madeleines soaked in coconut cream, ube mascarpone custard, macapuno, and our house ube jam topped off with toasted puffed rice. Our house made ube jam goes in the batter to keep the cake moist and is added as a filling for that extra ubelicious explosion. Finished off with beautifully piped ube Swiss meringue buttercream. Get yours next week at Kapwa Gardens and Trellis for Yum Yams festival.

We’re so excited to join Kapwa Gardens at Yum Yams! Join us in the heart of SOMA Pilipinas in downtown SF, where we’ll be serving up an all-ube menu of desserts.

Ube is a signature component of Filipino culture. Ube is a purple yam that has become a beloved ingredient in Filipino culinary culture. Its vibrant color and sweet flavor make it a popular ingredient in desserts, such as cakes, pastries, and ice cream. Its significance in Filipino cuisine reflects the country’s rich agricultural heritage and diverse culinary traditions.
