Introducing Quinta do Crasto!
Perched along one of the most striking bends of the Douro River, Quinta do Crasto stands as one of Portugal’s great historic estates, with written records dating back to 1615. In the hands of the Roquette family since 1918, the property has grown from its origins as a traditional Port house into a leading voice for both dry and fortified wines of the Douro Valley.
Today, under fourth-generation owner Miguel Roquette, Crasto continues to define the region through its dramatic terraced vineyards, privileged riverfront sites, and a commitment to wines that balance structure, freshness, and a clear sense of place. Its vineyards, carved into steep schist slopes overlooking the Douro, are among the most iconic in the region and have helped elevate the estate to international recognition, with distribution in more than 40 countries.
Beyond the cellar, Quinta do Crasto has also become a destination, welcoming thousands of visitors each year who come to experience the landscape, the history, and the wines firsthand. As interest in Portugal continues to grow, Crasto sits at the intersection of tradition, place, and a new generation of global appreciation for the Douro.
We’re proud to welcome Quinta do Crasto as part of our first direct import partnerships from Iberia.
