This is probably my favorite combination for this meal. One day I'll write my own recipes down to share. But for now... I think I'll just enjoy it little by little. Comfort meals are always good for these kinda days.

Thanks for the great dining experience. It's definitely been a minute since I've been able to enjoy a meal like this 🤤 , unfortunately I didn't sit on the outside so I didn't get pics of the items as they came out. 🥲

Failed focaccia attempts. Actually the last one (first pic) wasn't so bad. Could be better! Maybe next time. Also I always forget that I overdo it with toppings lol

Got the 233 year old sourdough starter from a local mom, along with her recipe for a lazier method (will be available in her cookbook that's in the world rn). Fire alarms went off, 2 loaves went in the trash. However, I did come out of this with 5 successful loaves. 🥹 I hate baking 😂😂 peep my mousepad from

It started with this using .baking 's savory garlic and scallion milk bread recipe by when I still didn't have bread flour (and it was still so good). 🥹🥹 Now I have a bunch of bread recipes bookmarked.

It feels like I never cook anymore. When in reality I'm cooking all the time. All day, everyday ... Almost. I feel like a complete lost cause in the kitchen nowadays, never really having inspiration anymore. However, I usually still know "what to do" or "how to do it." Experimenting and having fun isn't "fun" anymore. That was until I randomly wanted to make some wine braised short ribs again. Time after time with this dish, countless experiments .. I was never satisfied with the end results. It was good but never good enough. And I mean it, never. Something was always missing. I have never been "happy" with the end results, just "content" and now I know why. I know exactly what I was missing. Unfortunately, because I decided to wing it and not measure anything I've no idea if I'll ever achieve the flavor profile of this exact moment again. 🫠 Hopefully, by the time I figure it out next time I'll have also figured out a better plating option for this dish ❤️
