We're thrilled to announce that our first injera machine has been shipped! 🚚 This marks a monumental milestone for Automitad and the future of injera making. For centuries, our beloved moms have tirelessly made this cherished bread by hand. Today, we honor their legacy with innovation.

A big thank you to our incredible engineering team and Shega Foods for ensuring a successful testing. And a special thanks to the visionary entrepreneur who not only bought our machine but also embraced our vision for revolutionizing injera making.

AutoMitad is the love child of two entrepreneurial companies based in Minnesota and San Jose. The two companies have poured their collective resources and knowledge to solve the challenge of automating the injera bread.

RECAP OF 2022!

It all started with a single video that we posted on Facebook showcasing our automated injera machine. The response was overwhelming and it was clear that there was a demand for such a product. That's when we decided to turn our passion into a business and AutoMitad was born.

In just a few short months, we have already made significant strides in the industry and we have the Ethiopian community, business leaders, and media (EBC-መዝናኛ DW Amharic EBS Yoni Magna ዮኒ ማኛ Zehabesha Ethiopian Airlines እሁድን በ.ኢቢ.ኤስ Seifu On EBS )to thank for their support. We couldn't have done it without you.

As we move into 2023, we hope to bring even more exciting news to the table. We are constantly working on new and innovative ways to improve and expand our machine and gas prototype, and we can't wait to share it with all of you.
