Each year we award one employee with the Ky Strong Award. The idea for an employee award formed in 2023, but the name and the meaning of the award was announced in 2024 shortly after our President of Ag’s wife, Kiley Hansen was diagnosed with cancer. If you had the privilege and pleasure to know Kiley you would know that to received this award you have to be an exceptional exployee and person. Constantly going above and beyond for our customers, our teammates, and our company. Accepting challenges and adversity head on. Not viewing obstacles as a stopping place but rather an accelerator to move past that challenging point. Never cutting corners or stopping when your task is complete, but constantly asking “what else can I do” and saying “no problem” when asked to do something.

Shortly after the Ky Strong Award committee decided unanimously which employee earned this award, Kiley passed away.

We are beyond please to present the 2025 Ky Strong Award to Ricardo Navarro! It is with certainty that Kiley would be proud that you get to honor her name and legacy through your shared ethics, normals, and tenacity.

Congratulations Ricardo! You earned this and we couldn’t be more proud of you🏆

May Kiley rest in peace. We thank her for setting the bar so high in all aspects of life and each Apex Ag Technologies employee will strive to do as she did 🕊️

Reflecting on 2024 and the best way to sum it up is that, it’s been a year. Professionally this has been a good year! We moved into our new office and warehouse, we have expanded our portfolio, team, customer base, and foot print. Individually, 2024 has put a majority of us through the wringer. As a team we have experienced the highest highs and the lowest lows this year. We had engagements, marriage, new babies, new homes, children graduating college and getting married. We have also had the loss of loved ones and pets, horrible diagnoses, injuries, and life’s curve balls. I heard a quote once that said, “good news shared is twice the joy, but sad news shared is half the sorrow”. That could not be more true for this team and for this year! We got each other through this year. Thank you to everyone at Apollo Ag Technologies, Apex Water + Process, and to our customers and vendors- you were certainly a highlight in our year!

With that said, good riddance 2024, you have been a year.

We are focusing on what is ahead and could not be more excited for 2025!! May 2025 be anything but basic 😉💧🥂

If you want your fields to look like this next season, stop by booth H824 at the Amarillo Farm Show to learn about SoilGuard NA!

The photos were a couple weeks apart. SoilGuard NA was able to tie up the sodium, break down bicarbonates, and increase water infiltration allowing this field to make a comeback!
