Gerard’s Health Status Update
Three months ago, Gerard underwent a total parathyroidectomy. Recently, he had his laboratory tests and bone densitometry scan done.
By God’s grace, the results are encouraging: his iPTH and ionized calcium levels are now within normal range, his vitamin D has improved, and his bone density has shown positive progress.
The next step is an orthopedic consultation to address the fractures on both his left and right femoral neck. We continue to pray that these can be managed through physical therapy alone, sparing him from further surgery.
After this, and with God’s provision, we look forward to what we hope will be the final step—his kidney transplant.
