After purchasing and settling on this 300-acre ranch, Lorenzo started a dairy farm where Filipponi Ranch winery is located today. Come by and visit! You will be delighted by the quaintness of the ranch and impressed by our wines! It’s been a bittersweet week for the Filipponi family—On one hand, we wrapped a beautiful harvest season and got to celebrate some very special decade milestones with family and friends. On the other hand, we had to say the hardest goodbye, as we lost our dear Herb.

Today, we raise a glass to our husband, Dad, Poppa and for so many of you, friend. Cheers to the kindest, warmest, most hardworking man we’ve ever known, who made an impact on everyone he met…in the tasting room and beyond. We all look forward to the day we get to see you again, no doubt behind your heavenly BBQ.
