Bella Chiave Ranch Miniature Herefords

"Bella Chiave" is Italian for "beautiful key". The ranch is named for our Italian heritage, and from an aerial view, our property is the shape of a key. Phonetically you pronounce Chiave, "key-ah-vaye". We started raising registered Miniature Hereford cattle in 2007. Our business started out with two bred cows, two heifers, and a young bull. Today our herd has grown, and all are daughters and gr

anddaughters of our original four cows! In recent years we have earned some champion titles of our own, including 2010 Mid State Fair Champion Bull, 2013 Mid State Fair Champion Bull, 2010 Grand Natl. Stock Show Champion Yearling Bull, and 2011 Grand Natl. Stock Show Reserve Champion Fall Bull. 2012 Grand Natl Stock Show Grand AND Reserve Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Heifers ( this was our first BIG win), and 2013 Grand Natl Stock Show Reserve Grand Champion Bull. We calve in the fall so we have calves available mostly in the spring. They make great pets, show prospects, freezer steers, 4-H/FFA projects, and not to mention fabulous lawnmowers!
