San Luis Peoples Market The Market is being reorganizing as a worker-owned cooperative. We reopened May 21. 8a-6p.

San Luis Peoples Market, formerly R&R Market, is part of the San Luis Food Sovereignty Initiative and is the oldest business in Colorado, 167 years and counting. A volcanic rock corn mill operation will soon be opening using local nonGMO native corn and traditional methods of nixtamalization for the production of an authentic masa harina for corn tortillas and other products. We are also remodeling to open a commercial kitchen to serve a deli-cafe and nutrition and cooking classes.

have more details soon as we shift toward a removal of harmful hyper processed items. Please comment on what you would like to see removed from our shelves.

Our rotisserie chicken at the San Luis Peoples Market is never injected with saline solutions and other harmful chemicals to plump it up. Our chicken is seasoned with salt and pepper. That is all. We also never wrap it in plastic bags which leach microplastics on the bird. We offer recyclable carton boxes. The real thing and no plastic contamination.
