Everyday we are getting busier and busier! We are looking for a part-time employee to help us keep up with the sando orders during the lunch rush on weekdays and weekends.

⭐️General requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience
- Morning and weekend availability
- Able to multitask and handle fast paced environments
- Independent, enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Fluent or somewhat fluent in Japanese is a plus but not required 🇯🇵

Updates to menu and hours starting TODAY- Jan. 19

We’ve been open for a month and are so happy to see many of you enjoying our sushi and sandos! While it has been rewarding, the past month has also been extremely challenging for us.

We acknowledge that our current issues with long wait times and lack of items has been frustrating for many customers. We want to solve these problems with these changes so we can provide high quality meals that you don’t have to wait too long for.

At this time, we only have one chef in the kitchen so please keep in mind that during busy hours he is doing his best to complete your orders!

Thank you so much to everyone who supported us during our soft opening. Over the past three weeks, we’ve been grateful to see so many familiar faces return and to feel the growing energy in the restaurant.
This soft opening period gave us the opportunity to fine-tune our operations, hours, and menu based on real service and feedback.

As we move into our official schedule, we’ve made a few thoughtful updates to the menu to reflect what we do best and to ensure consistency and quality going forward.

We truly appreciate your patience and continued support, and we’re excited to welcome you during our official hours.

After months of setbacks due to kitchen repairs and waiting for permits, we are excited to announce our soft opening for Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Located in the San Mateo Food Mall, we are accepting orders for pickup and delivery only. Order through Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub or on sanmateofoodmall.com.

Our fresh fish selection will include toro, salmon, tuna, scallops, hamachi (amberjack), shima-aji (striped jack), hirame (flounder) and tai (red sea bream). Each nigiri will be topped with something special including caviar, truffle and fresh wasabi!
