Remember when a bandaid could fix basically anything? 🩹

Then you became an adult and somehow the problems got a little more complicated.

Fortunately, we’ve discovered another tool that helps. 🍷

Is it a cure-all? Depends on who you ask…

Does life seem a little better when you’re sitting in the sunshine with a glass of wine? We’re not saying no!! 😏

I was trying to get some work done today….

Checking tanks.
Moving barrels.
Cleaning equipment.
Doing important winery things.

And then somehow… a glass of wine appeared in my hand. 🍷

Then it happened again.
And again.

At a certain point, it would have been irresponsible NOT to deal with the situation. You can’t just leave wine sitting there!! 😏

Anyway, if anyone knows how this keeps happening, let me know. Until then, come visit us this weekend from 12-5. I promise, I’ll do my best to save some wine for you.

Empty hand = bad.

What started as a one-time fundraiser with a pretty terrible homemade label somehow turned into one of the most meaningful things we’ve ever done. 🇺🇸🍷

A few wooden wine boxes.
A simple idea.
Supporting the EOD Warrior Foundation.

And people showed up in a big way.

Years later, EOD Cellars has grown into a full lineup of wines that continue supporting wounded EOD warriors, families of the fallen, and the community behind them.

Sitting outside with a glass of wine feels like a really good use of your time this weekend, doesn’t it? 🍷😏

If you’re looking for the right bottle for a weekend like this, our 2023 Syrah is waiting. Dark fruit, a little spice, a little smoke, and enough depth to keep things interesting from the first sip to the last.

So... what CAN we promise? A full day of live music, good wine, good food, and the kind of atmosphere that reminds you why people love Paso Robles in the first place.

Tackitt Uncorked is happening May 23rd from 12-9pm here at the winery, and we’re bringing in 8 live bands across 2 stages for a full day of rock, country, blues, and all-around good times in the vineyard.

We’ll have award-winning wine pouring all day, Choco’s Mexican Food Truck keeping everyone fed, and plenty of room to kick back, dance a little, and make a summer memory or two.

This isn’t a stuffy wine event. It’s a party.

I gotta say, having my niece out here to help us out has really been nice… I haven’t had to lift a finger! 🤣

Why didn’t I bring her out here sooner?!

She’s hauling cases, cleaning up, learning the ropes… and I’m standing around doing what I do best: supervising. 🍷

In all seriousness, it’s been fun having another set of hands around the winery for a while, even if she’s starting to realize “working at a winery” involves a lot less sipping and a lot more cleaning than people think.

She’s earning her keep. Come visit us this weekend and give her an excuse to pour. 😉
