We are full into bud break and cover crop management- meaning we’ll be out managing the cover crop because we can’t trust anyone but the to do it! We’re nearly a month early - it’s going to be a crazy summer….

Our kunekunes can’t reach the buds. Our sheeps and goats can! So they’re banished from the field until after harvest. They’re already bored - let me know if you want to borrow any!

(Yes, they still get dinner, it’s usually vegetable scraps, but we supplement depending on the day)

Today, I thank all the women who support me and our business - so many amazing females who step up and do the hard things, whether it’s farming, brushing a donkey, or bottling wine. As a female winemaker, farmer, and veteran (with zero employees), I am super appreciative of all the help I get. I try to thank everyone every day, but today I want all the amazing ladies out there who do ALL the things to know how much I appreciate you!
