So I recycled our Thanksgiving Ham. Made frittatas for breakfast this morning, bean and ham soup for tomorrow and ham loaf for dinner this evening. After scraping the bone I turned it over to the dogs so they could finally enjoy your Thanksgiving feast!!
I boiled down the Turkey carcass and picked it clean. I use the stock to make a nice gravy! I will be adding rutabaga, carrots onions and peas! Gunna turn this into turkey stew for dimner later this week. I even process the leftover pancakes from Thanksgiving morning to repurpose them into chocolate muffins that are damn near gone...
Remember that all food you made for the holidays freezes great and can always be repurposed into something else! A great way to conserve resources and of course stretch your dollar!!
