We’re excited to have one of the most loved BBQ joints in Sapulpa showing OkieSpice how it’s done on Saturday!
(You can grab their famous sauce off our shelf all the time but you won’t get Willie & Roberta very often!❤️😎)

Smoked Bologna & Pork Sliders will be available for purchase tomorrow inside OkieSpice starting at 10am to sellout along with “THE SAUCE”!🤣

Ok! 1st...!
Don't judge my sing along Or Steve's ol' grill!
(We didn't want to wheel the Hasty Bake around for this demo!)

Handy for all y'all that Hickory House BBQ will be at OkieSpice this Saturday....you can grab a bottle or two of "THE SAUCE"!
(And the Barefoot Kitchen Lemon Blend as well!)

OkieSpice has promised folks this was coming....we sat on it for years & years but we are sharing with you all finally!
Our version of AQ Chicken House chicken---Fried AND The Famous BBQ Chicken!
It takes a hot minute or two, but it's so worth it!
(If you plan on feeding a crowd.....start early!)

1st-Fry your chicken in the way you do....but season ALOT with Barefoot Seasoning Lemon Pepper Blend (or any type of Lemon Pepper works in a pinch, just not as tasty!)
Salt liberally with Real Salt as your frying.....It makes a huge difference!
Don't overcook because you are gonna take the fried chicken and charcoal it over REAL COALS!!
That's how AQ served their Fried Chicken.....Fried and Charcoaled!
The Lemon Seasoning is very important!
Now take the hot fried chicken and charcoal it over "already HOT Coals" for 10 minutes or so on each side, turning frequently to get a nice char without burning.
Take Hickory House Hot BBQ Sauce and baste each side after the crust browns a bit over the coals.
Wait to sauce until you see some grill marks. Then watch and turn as sauce caramelizes.

We usually make enough to share & to also have it both ways....It's that good!
This is one of our most beloved and perfected ways to serve BBQ Chicken!
