Firelands Winery & Restaurant Celebrating 146 years in 2026! Ohio's first official AVA. Proud producer of fine Ohio Wines including Lonz, Mon Ami, Mantey and Firelands.

Firelands Winery is one of Ohio's oldest wineries, located in the lakeside town of Sandusky. The original cellar, which is still used today, was built in 1880 by the Mantey family. The winery produces and bottles wine for the Mantey, Mon Ami, Lonz, and Firelands brands amongst others. The attached tasting room and restaurant is a popular tourist destination showcasing our unique Ohio wines. The estate vineyard Vitis vinifera varietals are lovingly crafted in an austere and old-world style, while the distinctive Vitis labrusca grapes are vinified and blended to create a taste of sweet, juicy, Americana.

We were at it again!! Taking our delicious w**es to the masses!! It is always an honor to represent Firelands Winery at the annual Grapes and Grains event to benefit Magruder Hospital!! The venue, The CIC, the guests, the music, the fantastic sunset, and the food were phenomenal! And once again, our w**es were the showstoppers!!! Stop out and sample, what do ya have to lose??
