Good Monday morning, everyone. The sun is shining and it’s 23°. Yesterday was our last day to be open for cut your own Christmas trees and we just want to thank, once again, all of you who came out and supported our family for another year.. Today all of our tail feathers are dragging a bit because we have been Outside in the cold a whole lot this tree season... Today with the sunshine, it just seems like a true day of rest. Still have a lot of signs to put away around the farm and some of them are pretty entrenched in the snow we have. I have a ton of things to put away in the barn. But now we can turn our eyes and mind to celebrating this blessed season and to cheering on our grandson’s playing basketball at Leland high school. May God bless each and everyone of you with smiles and good cheer for Christmas.God bless you every one.🌲🎄♥️

As I have posted before, there is nothing to stop the wind out here in the farm lands…Please consider that the weather is supposed to be 27° on Friday ( open 2-4) and on Saturday 28°...Sunday 22° ( open 9-4 weekends)…
If you are driving a long ways please call us before coming…All trees are $70. Sunday evening November 30….Today was certainly a miserable weather day. Steve and Kyle were out early, trying to plow out the main roads through the Christmas trees. By the time they made one round and got back to where they started, most of it had blown back in. So that is when we decided not to open. The blessing of being closed on Monday’s is that we can clear the gravel roads somewhat. We will reopen this Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:00 until 4:00. The Barn Store is not open except on weekends. Then our last weekend to be open this season is December 6-7 from 9:00-4:00.. we still have a good selection of trees and some 8 footers. All trees are $70 which includes tax, shaking dead needles out and netting. WE only ACCEPT CASH or CHECK..Our tree species are..white pine, scotch pine, Canaan Fir ( looks and smells like Fraizer fir) Concolor Fir and Norway Spruce…Please leave your dog at home.

Morning.. today is SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 30. We will be CLOSED TODAY because of Snow and Wind. Our county road that we live on has drifts to the center line. Steve and Kyle went out to try to plow paths into the trees, but it was drifting back by the time they got to the end of where they were. So to keep everybody Safe, including us, we’re just going to close today.
We will reopen during the week…Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2-4 in the afternoon . And then Saturday and Sunday, December 6 -7 from 9 to 4.. sometimes mother nature inconveniences us and all we can do is enjoy our day in another way.🤗

11/29/2025

Morning.. today is Saturday, November 29. Today the decision has been made that we will open at 9:00 and close at 12:00. We have snow on the ground it is still snowing and the wind is terrible. The heavy snow is predicted to start at around noon. If you can put off coming out today till tomorrow or next weekend, you will probably have a better experience. Remember, we are in the middle of farming country and there is nothing to block the wind.
All trees are $70, which includes tax, shaking dead needles out and netting. We only accept Cash or Personal checks…

Tuesday, November 25…..I sometimes have a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact of how fast time flies. In one month it will be Christmas day!
Today Steve made his last wreath for this weekend. But we are still decorating them and have about 25 to go. The Barn is finished except for putting away all the stuff we use to get it ready. It also needs to be vacuumed one more time. The weather tomorrow is predicted to be nasty, but we will press on in hopes of having a restful Thanksgiving Day…
Opening day is Friday, November 28 from 9-4. We have Canaan Fir (looks and smells like a frazier fir), Concolor fir ( smells like citrus), White Pine, Scotch Pine and Norway Spruce.
All of the tallest trees in every variety are from 7-8 foot tall the first couple of days, usually…the busiest day is the first day we are open.
We accept Cash and Personal Check Only, no credit/ debit cards, please.
Please leave your pet at home, but if you must bring them, they must stay in your vehicle at all times.
The last cutting day is Sunday, December 7…
Now it’s time to hit the hay, as tomorrow will be another busy day…

Will someone please remind me to check my facts and not post when i am tired? The price of trees this year is $70 not $75. OH MY GOODNESS! The time change really smacks you in the face with impending winter..doesn’t it? We’ve got the Barn store almost done, just working on the unheated part..there are so many goodies… This week we will set up the shop for making wreaths and roping/ garland..Steve just finished getting the netting for the trees and more wreath rings. All of our helpers are lined up and who’s cooking the lunches have been determined. So it appears we are track for the time being. There’s still that little lovely and tasty day called Thanksgiving to prepare for and also massive housekeeping, since we will be having family staying with us…Hmmmmm….
The usual crazy for this time of year for us. The trick is to stay healthy and calm. You can identify with that I bet🤗. By the way…..

Today is July 18th, 2025..I am mini celebrating ..as today, we finished trimming the leaders on all the trees, so there will be a place to put that star on top. The men are still shaping trees for a bit longer, but, it is now time to move into w**d control. Ugh! We hoe, spray and mow until after a frost. We have been blessed this year by the fact that the oldest grandson can drive..so he and his brother can get over here to help when needed.
I have started the cleaning process in the Barn Store. Santas elves have been dropping off boxes of goodies since May. I can’t wait to see what there is in them. But vacuuming and cleaning is first on the list. Can you believe that In 5 months we will all be in the thick of the Christmas holiday. Time sure flies.
