🚨 WE'RE REOPENING! 🚨

HillTop Kitchen will reopen on Thursday, June 18th, 2026 for brunch and dinner.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the true heroes of our community — Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue , Newtown Hook & Ladder, and the Health Department — for their professionalism, guidance, and dedication in helping ensure the safety of our guests, staff, and community.

We are fortunate to be protected by such outstanding public servants who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our town safe.

Thank you for all that you do. We look forward to being back on June 18th!

So, as we were closing this evening, we had a fire in one of our equipment, outside of the kitchen. Quick thinking of our staff, grabbing our extinguisher, containing the fire. Then our local heroes arrived from the Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue station and Newtown Fire station.

Thank God it was contained to thay one equipment, didn't spread, but we have a lot of cleaning to do and won't be opened again till next weekend and after the Health department clears us.

Thank you to the fire department, making sure everything is secured and safe for everyone!

Ps: what a great bday present, fire was contained!
