We have officially started Round 2 of farrowing!

We’ll have plenty of pigs available this round feeders and breeding stock, with pigs starting to become available to leave from the end of August into September.

So excited for Zoey’s litter. The first third generation born right here on the farm.

Every sow behind this line has proven to be a tremendous mother, and it’s pretty special to see it all come together like this.

This litter is a Ready or Not × Good Times × Straight Up Gangster, all tracing back to a Walks Alone sow that started it all.

Planning on keeping one to continue building on this line and see where it can go from here.

Not often do I have such an assortment of breeds all at once. Berkshire, Meishian, Hampshire, and Hereford.
Always fun seeing the differences in personalities, colors, and builds between them all.

Mammy our jersey had a bull calf today! Which means MILK and lots of it!

I waited around all day for her to calve, and of course the second it was time for me to leave… she decided it was go time.

Now it’s back to milking. Grant’s favorite fresh milk and my favorite homemade butter.
You can’t make butter noodles any better than with Mammy’s butter. We call them “Mammy noodles,” and I can’t wait.

Something new just hit the barn… and no, they don’t moo. 🐽

We’re excited to be adding Hereford pigs, and we couldn’t have asked for better ones to start with.

Meet Nala a phenomenal sow that brings both quality and proven success. And to make it even better, we were fortunate enough to get two of her offspring as well.
