Update from Edible Earth Farm:

Exciting news! As we continue to grow, we've had to adapt to the changing landscape since Covid. To simplify our operations, we've shifted our business model to focus on two main streams:

1️⃣ Our membership program - Think CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) but better!

As a member of our Farm to Door program, you'll get access to a bounty of fresh produce, meats, eggs, cheese, pantry goods, prepared foods and seasonal specialties from us and other local producers--straight from our farm to your doorstep. And the best part is we serve the greater Pittsburgh area! See website for our current delivery area.

2️⃣ Wholesale sales to small businesses like grocery stores, delis, CSAs, and restaurants in the region.

We're thrilled to see interest pouring in from local areas like Butler County, Lawrence County, and Mercer County! If you live in one of these counties but can't pick up at our drop points in Grove City or the farm in Sandy Lake, don't worry!

New option: You can now purchase our delicious products through the NWPA Growers Co-op. We're excited to expand our reach, share our bounty with more people in the community and to promote another local food service.

This lady has been with us almost 20 years. She's known three different dogs and a lot of family that has passed before her.

Tionesta staff remember her as the office cat.

She'll likely pass in the next few days. What a great soul--we all have them in our lives. They are not always cats.

We are searching for a CSA host site in the Cranberry area. We feel we would ultimately have demand for two. Free CSA membership. We do require a covered front porch and a shaded area to drop the boxes.

An update on our annual plant sale over at pghplants.com. This was the first year we offered home deliveries to people in Pittsburgh and for people who were non-members.

It was a smashing success for us and the feedback from our customers has been very positive. We had a few hiccups with the new software we developed for packing, but it impacted only two customers and was a result of how we setup the e-commerce site. We increased the number of plants sold by 40% across existing customer and new customers.

This has now become a significant source of revenue for the farm and we're looking to make this better for future years. We welcome your feedback.
