This is the last week's menu (sad)

Thank you all for ordering from us during this time! We narrowed the favorites down to the top three. Sorry if we missed some other favorites. We are grateful to everyone for your support and seeing your kind faces every week. Stay in touch!

Mon - Aug 28th

Pasticho is a delicious version of lasagna that is very popular in Venezuela. Its origins come from the Mediterranean, where a similar dish called pastitsio is made with tubular pasta and lots of creamy béchamel sauce.

In Venezuela, pasticho is prepared with regular lasagna noodles layered alternately with a tomato-based meat sauce and béchamel sauce, with cheese and ham interspersed within the layers. It requires an extra cooking step, but it's well worth it.

Comes with a garden fresh salad, dinner roll and chocolate chip cookies as a dessert.

Two pork carnitas tacos on a soft flour tortilla, with tomatillo pico de gallo served with cilantro lime rice and black beans. A churro as dessert.

Wed - Aug 30th

Chicken Cordon Bleu pasta. Creamy pasta casserole with chicken, ham, bacon, cheese, served with a garden salad, dinner roll and a chocolate chip cookie as dessert

Hello everyone! I wanted to send this out today and get your feedback on what you would like to see for a menu next week as that will be our last menu at our current location.

As we were coming up on the renewal of our lease we were trying to decide if we could continue to provide meals for everyone and due to quite a few factors like higher food costs, difficulty finding qualified people to help out in the kitchen (and cost to do so), health issues and also increased demands for our time from family situations we had been approached by someone for an offer on the kitchen and it looks to go through this week.

This has been a hard decision because we love seeing everyone and Jacqueline wants to keep cooking for everyone. She wanted to say that this is just a pause for us. She would like to continue to do what she can perhaps from home as she looks to getting approved for a home based kitchen or as a personal chef as needed. We just needed to pause and it seemed to work out at this moment.

It is abrupt, but we didn't know if things would work out at all but we love seeing each and everyone of you and we'll still have the email address here for everyone to contact us and since we are your neighbors we will probably see you out and about as we have done during this time.

Thank you all for having supported us and let us know what you would like to see next week and we will get the most popular choices out there. We will be seeing you again in the future so stay in contact!

Malibu chicken, breaded and baked chicken breast topped with a slice of ham and swiss cheese, served with a mustard sauce, mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables, a lemon bar as dessert

Tue - Aug 22nd

Beef picadillo. Picadillo is a classic Latin American comfort food made from ground meat mixed with a flavorful combination of veggies. Served with red beans and rice and a ginger molasses cookie for dessert.

Wed - Aug 23th

Traditional Venezuela Arepas. Soft corn meal buttered cakes that contain a variety of seasoned fillings with or without cheddar cheese added. Naturally gluten free (though produced in a kitchen that processes gluten). These are regular every day meal items for Venezuelans that taste great and fill you up.

For today we will have you choose between chicken/beef filling and with or without cheddar cheese added. Please request cheese or no cheese.

Mediterranean stuffed pork tenderloin filled with a spinach, sundried tomato and feta cheese blend. Covered with a balsamic and rosemary glaze. Served with lemon couscous, a tangerine tossed salad and a chocolate chip cookie for dessert.

Tue - Aug 8th

Baked salmon served with your choice of white or brown rice and roasted summer veggies.

For today because of the price of salmon it will be $12 per serving. Please state if you would like white or brown rice.

Wed - Aug 9th

Pink baked ziti with grilled chicken, served with a garden salad, dinner roll and a snickerdoodle cookie as dessert.
