The culmination of a hogs life in a few minutes. Raising livestock for meat production is simple in some respects, we feed them until they get big. But Everything from meat tenderness and color to fat content is affected by variables like feed composition, feeding schedules, livestock variety, pasture content and how the animal moves throughout its life. The best meat comes from farmers who obsess over these variables and butchers who who understand how to best utilize meat that presents with different characteristics.

Deja vu. We're moving the closer to the for some extra living space. We were doing this two years ago when there was nothing on our but a wellhouse and a shed. It was raining then and it's raining now.

It's an ill wind that blows nobody good! The wrong was sent to one of our partner breweries and the maltster didn't want it back, so our get three extra barrels of fresh, sugary, malted as a treat this week. They're going to love it!

We love this awesome new brewery!!!! Our pigs eat their spent grains, and with such a variety of awesome brews like this Forbidden Rice Alt. Alt they never get bored. We got to try this beer for ourself the other day and it's delicious. They also make the best kolsch in the city and are always serving a great menu of delicious, locally sourced food. Check them out, we promise you won't be disappointed!
