Happy Holidays to all! I have been more silent than intended on this page over the course of the year, but yes, we do still exist! The business ended up shifting to a more referral-based model as we have been taking on more “special orders” since last year, though I appreciate your patience as we try to find balance here!

Now, for your Christmas celebration needs - we will still be receiving orders until Tuesday December 16th. The pick up date will be the 23rd in the afternoon, ready for those of you who celebrate Wigilia (Polish style Christmas Eve)!

A note for our pierogi lovers - this year we will cook and freeze them immediately for you in order to better preserve fresh taste and texture of the dough, as I know many gatherings are taking place over the course of Christmas week 🎄

As always, thank you all for your continued support! It is always a pleasure to bring you a taste of home 🇵🇱

Happy Independence Day Weekend!

After careful consideration of business goals as well as various conflicts this summer, we’ve decided to skip this year’s farmers market season, to instead focus on the holiday and small batch order side of the business. What does this mean for your Polish food cravings?

Weekly orders: we are still making fresh Polish baked goods each week! This includes our Polish and European sourdoughs, and various seasonal treats. In the past, I have done Wednesdays as the pickup day (with various meetup locations across Salt Lake county) as a midweek pick-me-up, but I would like to hear what your preferences are! If we have enough votes for a different day, I am happy to switch.

What about pierogi? Besides these being available for catering and special request order pick-up (with advanced notice), I am preparing for a mid-summer pierogi drop. I will have several different kinds of pierogi available on sale - they are frozen (immediately after cooking) for your convenience to thaw and heat up when you are ready. This ensures flavor and texture are preserved, and you can have them when you are ready - for us, we love it as a cozy rainy day food or a meatless Friday meal ☔️

If we end up participating in any pop-up events, we will keep you updated!

As always, thank you for allowing me to share my culture with you! It truly warms my heart to hear what our food means to you, whether it be the taste of home, trip nostalgia, or just trying something new and loving it.

We’re back!!
First, thank you to all who ordered in December, it was an honor to be able to help make your Christmas special!

Second, I apologize for the delayed return to business. Like many, we were sick for much of January and February, which ultimately delayed both planning and baking as I wanted to be back to 100% in good health (finally golden 🤞). The delays in everything have unfortunately made it so that I would be unable make my traditional pączki in time for Tłusty Czwartek. I do plan on having them available at various points this year, though, so stay tuned for that announcement! Thank you for your patience as we navigate this first year of business.

Lastly, I do plan on continuing on with taking special event orders, holiday orders, and doing a farmers market (pending decision as to which) this year! Same top standards as always (organic, real ingredients) for our traditional Polish food. As always, please reach out with any questions or requests ☺️🇵🇱

Photos: (1) classic biszkopt (angel cake?) multi-berry with vanilla mascarpone whipped frosting, layered with strawberry jam and cream. (2) chocolate biszkopt, with chocolate custard cream and black currant jam, chocolate ganache drip, and various toppings!

PSA: this weekend we will be at the Daybreak Market! So if you are looking for some delicious Polish treats this weekend, come find our booth at Daybreak ☺️ We will have our Polish sourdough bread, Szarlotka (Polish apple pie - this weekend and next are the last chances to get it!), Karpatka (Carpathian Cream Cake), Domek Baby Jagi (Baba Yaga’s House), and more!

Additionally, I will be starting to take Christmas orders tomorrow until next Friday - we’re talking pierogi, barszcz (borscht), szarlotka, makowiec, etc. So even if you can’t make it out this Friday and Saturday, you can still have Polish at your table 🎄
As always, every thing is made with high-quality ingredients, handmade, and from scratch!

Be sure to also keep an eye out for our Thanksgiving sale announcement for the whole pumpkin pie and szarlotka, as well as pierogi sale for Christmas! 🥧🥟

Pictured are last weekend’s Baba Yaga House Cheesecake (Domek Baby Jagi), Szarlotka (Polish Apple Pie) and my American Pumpkin Pie (made by a Polish girl, so it’s technically Polish, right?)

Well you’ve never known a cake like this before… while this dessert is best had in the summer, sometimes, you just can’t resist… with a lady finger base, perfectly balanced sweet-custard cream middle, and topped with fresh strawberries and Polish gelatin 🤤
