Feathers on the Wind Farm We are a small hobby farm between Sanford and Moncure. We also have hopes of offering lessons of different sorts!

We are a small farm in central NC sharing our adventures with our fainting goats, springers and chickens with the world

See our website if you are interested in more information about our dogs or goats. Currently we are working on updating infrastructure so that we can add (meat) goats, rabbits and chickens this Spring as well as egg laying chickens! We look forward to sharing our journey with all of you!

Mule City Specialty Feeds, Inc has new bags with easy to open ends. No need to hope you cut the right string anymore. Thanks Mule City for getting my order together. 1500lbs of goat feed and 1000lbs of chicken feed. It was hot in the shade in the barn. The fan was running for the goats while they supervised me emptying feed bags. The Quality Equipment of Fuquay Varina John Deere 3033R makes unloading the truck easier.

Percy and Gwen both went to the IABCA Tarheel Sieger today. Thank you to Kathy Hill and her friend for all their help juggling two dogs!

Oddly enough Gwen handled the heat and loose footing better than Percy.

Gwen got a group 1 and a group 2. Percy got a group 1! Both judges had lovely things to say about them both 🙂

We are entered tomorrow but attendance may depend on recovery this afternoon, especially since Gwen has AKC bpup next week too!
