Hot Honey Turkey Wings with Garlic Butter Mashed Potatoes for the win.
Don't forget the Soft Opening of Savor On Steele is this Saturday from 10am - 6pm.
We will have baked treats, spices, teas, hot sauces, herbs and of course the Tamarind Hot Honey Glaze I used in this recipe.
You may enjoy a glass of w**e with your desserts, relax in our Wellness Lounge on the Mezzanine and browse the Retail W**e shop on the third floor.
We can't wait to welcome you in.

I was honored to be asked to create custom Italian Pastries and tea blends for Pittsboro's newest Cafe - La Cucina della Nonna.
I created:
Pastries
Amarena Crostata (Buttery lattice pastry with Black Currant and Amarena (Italian Sour Cherries) and topped with Rosemary Sugar.

Tortina di Nonna
Vanilla Olive Oil Cake stuffed with Fig Preserves and topped with a Vanilla and Blood Orange Drizzle

Teas
IlGiardino di Nonna
Fragrant Earl Grey is layered with dark black currant, rosehips, blood orange and apricot, finishing with a delicate hint of rosemary.

L'Abbraccio di Nonna
Smooth and naturally honeyed, opening with rooibos and warm vanilla, followed by the creamy character of fig leaf and a subtle, gently dry olive-leaf finish.

I get to live an incredibly creative life and I'm grateful for everyone who gives me the opportunity to express myself through food.

Sanford, we’ve been keeping a little secret.

The next chapter of Tasting Queens is taking shape at **Savor On Steele**.

We’re joining forces with a fellow downtown business to create a new place to gather over food, conversation, and experiences worth making time for. I’m bringing the flavors you know me for, new dishes I can’t wait to share, and yes, tea service is coming with us. It’s getting a bigger stage.

This is a partnership between two independent businesses, each bringing what we do best to one shared space. And for everyone who has supported Tasting Queens Market along the way: you helped make this next chapter possible. I cannot wait to welcome you in.
