🎉 Celebrate Sanford at Founders Day! 🎉

Founders Day Celebration is happening this weekend, and Sanford Food Center is proud to partner with the Sanford Historical Society ( Sanford Centennial Museum) for this special community event!

Bring the family out for a full day of history, entertainment, food and fun throughout Sanford. There’s something for everyone, including a Classic Car Show, fire department open house, kids’ activities, bounce houses, face painting, historical displays, old tractors, demonstrations, trains, games, barrel train rides, live music, gospel singing and more!

Kids 14 and under can enjoy FREE hot dogs, lemonade, cotton candy and two FREE bounce houses, while supplies last.

Be sure to stick around for the Old Jerome Cemetery Tours featuring reenactments of early Sanford settlers and Civil War soldiers, and the Dam Duck Race at 3 PM!

Admission and parking are FREE, so bring the family and come celebrate the history and community that make Sanford such a great place to call home!

Thank you to the Sanford Centennial Museum for the kind words! We’re just happy to be able to support Founders Day and give back to our community in any way we can.

Sanford means a lot to us, and we’re grateful to be a small part of keeping these traditions going. ❤️

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Taylor Meyette of the Sanford Food Center and Jamie Mose of the Sanford Lake Bar & Grill. These two community partners continually go above and beyond for the Sanford Centennial Museum, offering steadfast support, generosity, and encouragement year after year.
