🍓🍓Strawberry 2024 season is over for us🍓🍓

We were picked over pretty good yesterday and have decided it’s time to close. A BIG THANK YOU to all who came out and visited us, we truly are grateful and thankful for all of the love. It’s no secret this year we rode the struggle bus most of the season. Soooo many things going on behind the scenes but our main issue being the deer attacking every row and completely destroying our large field, the plants tried but never recovered (in picture the left is this year, right side is last year). We will learn and grow from this. We have a lot of ideas and are hopeful we can put those ideas into motion and we can see y’all again soon ❤️

🍓Tuesday-Friday 10-2🍓

SALE! SALE! SALE! Until picked over, these will be the last days we will be open for the season. There will be no pre-picked berries at the barn. You-pick berries will be at a discount, $1.50/lb (normally $3/lb). There are some really great beautiful strawberries out there and there are also some not so great berries just for jams, pies, ect. So if you are looking for the best berries, it would be wise to come on Tuesday.

🍓🍓Pre-picked baskets will be available at the barn before 12. You-pick is open🍓🍓

⭐️⭐️First dibs alert. I brought over a few FUN things that I am taking to a market this evening. Freeze dried “Chips and Queso” (fruit roll ups with marshmallow fluff dip plus some other fun stuff…Chamoy/Tajin Lemonheads 🤤. I also made a few custom cups…cottage core Bluey, softball mama and “Lazy Summer” Pusheen Cat ❤️

☀️☀️After such a weird weather week, I am wanting to give all the green berries in the field one full day of good sunshine to ripen berries up☀️☀️

🎉🎉WILL BE OPEN OPEN OPEN TOMORROW (Friday). I will be bringing some of my fun market stuff to the barn tomorrow before my weekend markets. Candies, cups and such. See y’all then 🎉🎉

We are having so much fun this year, let me tell you 😖 help. Got to keep on moving. We got lucky with all the rain yesterday, since we were picked clean over the weekend the destruction of good berries is minimal. However, since there hasn’t been much sun there hasn’t been any ripening….so not many berries. Closing today (possibly tomorrow) in hopes the sun will come out and do it’s thing.

🍓🍓Monday Closed. If there was a red berry out there this weekend it was picked. Very thankful for all the traffic and support we had over the weekend. Now we wait for all the green berries to ripen.

🎉🎉Tomorrow (after a Mother’s Day event with my daughter @ school…should be around 10☺️) we will resume regular hours for the weekend and Mothers Day. Hoping to have plenty of pre picked baskets up here as well. Also, stay tuned in for later for the Mothers Day basket giveaway🎉🎉

🍓Limited hours this week. Every strawberry year for us is different and this year we have been down but don’t count us out. We know things could be worse and are thankful for all of our blessings. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. We are hopeful this warm weather will provide us with another burst of berries🍓
