Sanford Farmers' Market We are a producers' only farmers' market hosting weekly markets on Saturdays 8:30am-12pm at the Ag Marketplace (157 Charlotte Ave) in downtown Sanford NC!

Our market season is April 4 - November 21 this year. Join us for fresh locally grown foods and fun! The 2022 market season will run from Saturday, April 23 to November 12. We are open 8:30am - 12:00 pm. We are in the same location as last year (115 Chatham Street, the parking lot of the Buggy Factory) situated in the heart of Downtown Sanford near Depot Park. Come visit and see what we have going on, there will always be new things to see and do at the market!

Here is our vendor lineup and newsletter for our market tomorrow, June 20th!

Sweet corn is in! Grab these first sweet ears of the season, along with blueberries, blackberries, peaches, tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash, and lots more seasonal produce tomorrow! There will also be a wide variety of meats available for your Father's Day plans this weekend. We will also have a Father's Day card-making station along with our Donation Station at the market information table tomorrow!

For music at the market tomorrow, we are excited to have back Robert C. Thomas Music with his acoustic guitar. Get ready for some great classical tunes to enjoy as you shop the market!

TOMORROW, June 20th, is also our monthly Donation Station opportunity at the market!🍅🥕🥔

Donation Station is a statewide program offered through NC Cooperative Extension staff and volunteers to help support local farmers' markets while collecting food donations to help those who are food insecure. It also helps divert food waste from produce leftover after the market!

How Donation Station Works:
Visit our Donation Station, which is set up at the market information table. You can donate either produce you purchase at the market OR cash that our market volunteers use to purchase produce from our market farmers. All food donations go to a local food relief agency to distribute to those in need.

This month all food donations will go to the Salvation Army of Lee County.

We are excited to announce that we are now officially accepting SNAP benefits at our market! Come see us at the market information table for more information and to use your SNAP benefits starting THIS Saturday, June 20th!

HOW SNAP WORKS AT THE MARKET
SNAP recipients will swipe their EBT card at the market table and will receive SNAP tokens to spend with our participating vendors. SNAP recipients are also eligible for our Market Double Bucks program, which allows us to match SNAP benefits up to $20. That means if you use $20 in SNAP benefits, you'll get an additional $20 of Market Double Bucks tokens, which is $40 total to spend at the market! Thanks to FirstHealth of the Carolinas for sponsoring our Market Double Bucks program!

The Chatham Street Parking Lot, located behind the Buggy Company Building, will close on Thursday (6/18/26) at 5 p.m. and remain closed through the weekend for maintenance.

Parking will be available on Charlotte Avenue, Chatham Street, McIver Street, at the Bob Hales Center, and in the Pilgrim's Sanford Ag Marketplace overflow lot.

Today's market was a hot and special one! We enjoyed sampling lots of tasty meats from our local livestock farmers today for our Grilling at the Market event! Thanks again to Chef Chad Blackwelder for joining us and serving up a delicious showcase of chicken, pork, and beef available from our farmers at the market!
