Saturday we welcome The Traveling Scroll | Mobile Bookstore NC for an afternoon of books, brews and bites. Highlights include shopping from The Travelling Scroll’s extensive book selection, meeting local authors & participating in a free mystery book swap!

For the last item just wrap a book and bring it with you, we’ll show you where to set it down and select another wrapped book of your choosing. This is entirely free and might send you down (another) rabbit hole of fun!

As the song says, "Summertime, and the living is easy". Made even easier when you have trucks like these serving up dinner!

Pizza is Life is on the injured reserve list tonight and no truck (at the moment) planned. For a little while at least you can come see the faux-Stanley Cup I just posted about a moment ago. Very realistic as far as I can tell.

Tuesday it's Tuesday Night Trivia with Zach and Pana's flavors serving up empanadas so large you can use them as a blanket (results may vary)

Wednesday we are excited to have 50Kitchen return - everything's made from scratch. I told Anthony he could probably get away with just running the truck himself that night. Come prove me wrong!

Thursday night come dine on burgers from NC Burger Food Truck as the US men's soccer team dines out on Turkey. C.V. Pilson Farm boxes are picked up that night as well.

We've got a near perfect Friday for you - wings from new-to-us truck Wing Run and karaoke with BowTie Entertainment. This is a makeup event for the karaoke-ing we skipped last month. You can compete for the big belt or just sing for fun, that's up to you. I would give those wings a try, it's a New Yahker running the show so we have a good chance these are gonna be solid wings.

Saturday it's a fun afternoon as we host The Traveling Scroll and a gaggle of author friends at the brewery. Browse, sip and meet the authors! There is also a give-a-book-take-a-book swap - bring a wrapped book with you to put in a pile of "wild card" books and take one for your own enjoyment. No cost, just for fun. Tacos El Primo, Inc. is our truck-du-jour that night.

Sunday would be quiet but we have Ruckus City Kitchen joining us and they're bringing their small-but-well-appointed menu of sliders and more. My experience with them is that is food is terribly addicting. You've been warned.

Today we welcome all who seek the Cup - however, there is no cup to be seen.

This is not a Buddhist riddle, the only things we are rolling with today are line dancing with Buckles & Boots Line Dancers starting at 2pm, Drunken FoodTruck serving up starting at 4pm and great beer from the moment we open at noon.

Wherever the Stanley Cup is, it’s not at the brewery (despite what your AI search engine summary might say!)

Woohoo! There’s no party like a Pridefest party! Bring your happy smiling face to the brewery this afternoon for Richard Simmons tribute Zumba at 2pm, unicorn petting zoo and karaoke to follow. Dalat Streets of Vietnam will be serving up throughout the late afternoon and evening, going to be a fun day. Hope you’ll join us!

Oh and PS the Stanley Cup is STILL not going to be at the brewery on Sunday.

It’s German foods for dinner tonight! We may have a beer that goes well with that …

🚚⚡️ We’re finally open for business at Hugger Mugger Brewing! ⚡️🚚

We battled the traffic, worked through a power outage at the brewery, and made it here! 😅

Just a few unexpected bumps in the road, but we’re up and running and ready to serve. Sometimes a little patience and persistence go a long way!

Come grab your favorite German comfort food tonight until 8pm. We’ve got the full menu ready to go and we’re excited to see you!

Ok time to come clean about the Stanley Cup. When we said yesterday “it’s not happening” that meant there won’t be a Stanley Cup appearance on Sunday. We asked AI again today and it seems to agree this time.

I did learn some things from this. One, our Insta followers are savvy information consumers. Bless your sweet lil brains. Two, we may need to consider our AI policy for the brewery. We don’t use AI generated images or text - we either pay artists or write the text ourselves. Really, I wish anything created with AI was required to be marked as such - but until that time this event caused us to think about use of AI by our partners and just broadly. So we will be cogitating on that and sharing if something of relevance bubbles up to share.

I will say, if the Stanley Cup DID show up on Sunday we’d show it a good time. Maybe even polish it up a bit after consuming victorious beer and noodles from it (not at the same time). If it does you’ll be sure I won’t need AI to figure it out - nor will you, we won’t be shy about it.
