Simple living. Small House Farm is an effort in sustainable living. We grow an abundance of vegetables and also small livestock. Our garden is the heart of Small House Farm. This where we meditate, harvest our seeds and learn about Mother Nature’s many wonders. We are avid seed savers, and amateur plant breeders. We believe that each seed is a connection to every grower that stewarded that variety before us. We offer seeds for a limited selection of unique and rare heritage varieties each spring and invite you to become a part of their story too.. We harvested this Golden Oyster Mushroom on the River the other day - it was epic - Bevin stood in his kayak and poked it down from a tree with his paddle.. it tumbled through the air and landed at his chest..wish I had video of it happening! 🎥 🍄‍🟫 but the best memories happen off of socials - so get outside and forage something!

Chive flower vinegar, it’s what your body wants…And your salads, marinades, slaws, and quick pickles too!

Just pick flowers at their prime and infuse in white, wine, or apple vinegar. Strain after 2-4 weeks.

Using the The Original Bucket Stool™ was perfect for our podcast on-the-road setup - these bucket toppers turned 5 gallon buckets into comfortable and stable seats! They sat at a really nice height and allowed us to offer seating for our guests without needing all the space that a camp chair can take up. These bucket seats can be used in the garden, camping, fishing, etc!
