With our daughter Isla and the partnership of our two draft horses, Nick and Maizy, field sparrow farm is committed to growing food in a sustainable manner without pesticides or GMO's. Knowing that healthy soil is essential to a healthy community, we utilize cover cropping, compost, organic fertilizers and natural amendments for soil health. Our primary focus is on growing heritage and heirloom breeds with a mix of horse power and tractor power. We sell a variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowers, as well as some meat, eggs, and fruit. OUR FAMILY HAS RELOCATED BUT WE ARE CURRENTLY LEAVING OUR FACEBOOK PAGE UP AS A SOURCE OF GARDENING AND FOOD ACCESS RESOURCES.

Here at Field Sparrow Farm, we are committed to providing local individuals and families with safe, nutritious food for every season of the year. We sell a variety of vegetables along with herbs, flowers, strawberries and melons. Knowing that healthy soil is essential to a healthy community, we utilize cover cropping, compost, organic fertilizers and natural amendments for soil health. With our daughter Isla and the partnership of our two draft horses, Nick and Maizy, we grow food using a mix of horse, human, and tractor power. Instead of using synthetics, pesticides, and GMO’s, we focus on growing open pollinated or heirloom varieties.

In September of 2016, after farming and apprenticing together for over 3 years, we moved to Sanford to start Field Sparrow Farm. We believe in the importance of community education about sustainable agriculture & health through nutrition. Local farms are a place of coming together for the common good; to share food & ideas. This is the place to buy local, clean food to share with family and friends. We look forward to serving you!
