Nice alfalfa hay baled Wednesday, fine stem horse quality $15/bale

Lots of beardless wheat hay available, it’s okay, but not as great quality as last year $10/bale

Anyone in need of a nurse cow? Just came fresh yesterday with a half angus bull calf on her side. 6 years old (I’ve had her since she came off the calf ranch), mellow, and typically stays in the hills with our beef cows until she calves. She raised 5 calves last year! All different ages and healed a broken legged calf! Even had a sheep nurse her one time while I was milking her (if it’s the first time milking in a while, she will pick up a leg at you). Never had any problems with mastitis or anything!
Typically a good leader, taking the herd right to the gates. Broke to the truck horn, usually the slowest one, but she’s always there and brings the straggler calves with her. I’ll also wean calves with her when she’s dry.
I obviously feed her when nursing, but not too extreme. Only problem is I never get her bred back on time because the bulls are turned out (not her fault!)
Daisy Mae is not going to be cheap!
Otherwise, I’m looking for nurse calves

Wheat hay for sale!
By the bale or by the stack (74 bales/stack)
$11/bale

Horses and cows love it. Not sure on the weight currently (scale is not home at the moment)

Will trade out if there is a rye grass bale in the stack

Decent wheat hay, but not every bale is clean! Every once in a while there’s foxtails or bur clover burs. $10/bale
Also have some rye grass hay with a little bit of wheat, believe it’s clean, $10/bale
All from last year and stored in the barn

We have lots of ground beef!
Tubes are just shy of 2 pounds for $8 a tube (cheaper than Costco I’m told!)
We also have sliced jerky meat for $5/lb.
