🚨2026-2027 Rule Changes🚨

1. The Novice BDBD money earning limit has been raised to $1,500.
2. If you classify as an open rider in any other association, you can ONLY enter the Junior or Senior classes. This includes individuals that receive remuneration for training, showing, giving lessons, clinics, or assisting in the training of horses as well as individuals employed as a ranch's primary horse trainer.
3. In the Senior Youth, contestants will ONLY be allowed to dally if choosing to rope. Circling is still an option in this class.
4. If a competitor jerks down or flips their cow over backwards, it will result in an automatic DQ (at judge's discretion).
5. Class winners will only be awarded a maximum of 10 points if the class size is larger than 10, and all places below 10th will not receive any points. If the class is smaller than 10, the maximum points will remain based on class size.
