Say hello to our new little friend! This is a cluster of Pinot Noir Clone 828 and this morning it was clipped from it’s lovely little home on the Rio Vista Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA of Santa Barbara County and is about to be taken to our winery in Lompoc to be crushed with all of its family for your drinking pleasure! That wording my have taken a dark turn, but fear not! This little cluster is fulfilling it’s destiny of becoming a glass of exceptional California wine 🍇💜🍷 We’ll keep you posted on the rest of this cluster’s journey through this year’s harvest and are excited to share the finished product with you all 😄

Because of the heavy rains over the 2022/2023 winter, the 2023 harvest is going to be a wild one! Although there are still mixed opinions on whether it will be an exceptionally good year with heavy yields, or just a standard good year period for California grapes, there's no argument that the vines are coming in strong! And as long as this summer sun keeps shining like it's shining right now, you can rest assured 2023 will be a good one! But of course it's only July. The rest of summer will tell us a lot. Either way, we hope you guys are enjoying some of this beautiful California gold like we are!
