Ratings range from ambiance to potatoes and bloody mary/bacon. Playing corn hole follows our meal. If you'd like to join our group, let us know! Start your own group if you prefer. We aim to patronize every breakfast place in and around Santa Cruz with periodic repeats for our friends who miss an exceptional brunch experience. We take turns choosing the place and paying the bill including tip. Anyone who joins as a regular chooses the next restaurant and pays, inserting themselves in the lineup. We now have five regulars and will stop at eight people. If you'd like to join us as an alternate or one-off member, you're welcome to come and just pay for yourself. We are light hearted, and love to laugh but take our food and service seriously. Our rating system is evolving, and includes the following criteria:
Ambiance (Can you talk to each other over noise? Is there good music? Comfortable? Accessible?)
Service
Presentation
Food and Beverage Quality
-Potatoes (Grilled not fried? Seasoning? Make mine extra crispy!)
-Bacon (Crisp or greasy? Natural smoke or smoke flavor?)
-Hollandaise Sauce (Real or nice try?)
-Bloody Mary (Flavor/Can you taste the vodka?)
-Proximity to fabulous place to play Corn Hole
Some above information is subject to change, considering current members consider and respect each other and everyone has a say. We hope we can help you find the most awesome breakfast places to enjoy in the Santa Cruz area!
