Awe Sum Organics is a company with a long history, beginning with a passion for organically grown produce. David first started selling organic produce from his large organic garden in 1973, delivering to Santa Cruz and the San Francisco Bay area to natural food stores and co-ops. The business took off when David also started delivering organic produce from other local farmers on his route to organ

ic produce distributors. In 1985, David started Farmers Fruit Express with a unique approach to marketing organic produce in the US and Canada. His idea was to complement locally and domestically grown organic produce in the off-seasons with imported organic produce from south of the border and the southern hemisphere. Eventually David changed the name to Awe Sum Organics and for over 26 years, the company has been providing large volumes of high quality organic fruit to the US and Canada ensuring a fresh, bountiful year-round supply.
