🚨 Zoe Basha Live, February 10th!!
Don’t miss this!!

Zoé be Basha is a Dublin-based musician, composer and carpenter. Her original pieces and traditional songs explore the pulse of American ragtime, the sway of Appalachian mountain songs, and the fervour and solemn ornamentation of Irish traditional songs. With her signature band sound of playful, syncopated guitar, country fiddle, electric organ, drums, and a booming voice reminiscent of some old jazz record you can’t quite put your finger on, Zoé Basha is a particular kind of americana, brewed in Dublin.
Her debut album ‘Gamble’ - self-released in April 2025 - was awarded ‘Folk Album of The Month’ by The Guardian, and received 4-star reviews on RTE Radio 1 Arena. Basha’s debut album and title track were shortlisted for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards in two categories: Best Folk Album, and Best American Roots Performance.
Traveling by thumb, freight trains, and taking the scenic route with rust-bucket vans, Zoé Basha played music in the streets for years to sustain the journey. Of French and American origins but with some pretty persistent traveling shoes, she was pulled between Ireland and the traveling life for the last decade.
‘Gamble’ tells the stories of her roamings, through adventures and musings of intimacy, sorrow, celebrating the fleeting, and questioning the whole lot. The album is an intimate exploration of identity, grief, the deconstructing of societal norms, and the complexities of human connection, all delivered with a mesmerising voice that echoes the vulnerability and depth of her diverse influences. Inspired by the greats of times passed, such as Billie Holiday, The Mills Brothers, Jimmie Rodgers, Joni Mitchell, Texas Gladden, Edith Piaf and The Steve Miller Band– as well as her peers in the Irish folk music scene, Zoé Basha savours the sounds of golden eras with contemporary nuance and shameless honesty.

🚨 What is happening in this country right now is unacceptable. We are angry, and we refuse to stay silent. We stand in full solidarity with those participating in the Nationwide Shutdown, and we are explicitly against ICE and the harm it inflicts on our communities. We are choosing to stay open today to provide a safe space to gather, be together, and let music do its mending.

All proceeds from our Orange Creamsicle Beer are being donated to Y.A.R.R. (Your Rapid Response for Santa Cruz) to directly support immigrant families and neighbors who are under threat right now.

We reject fear, intimidation, and violence. We believe in safety, dignity, and justice for everyone. We will continue to stand with immigrants, and stand against ICE, loudly and without apology!

🥶 Since the temp has dropped, we’ve aimed to keep you fully entertained!!

This video is a quick run through what happens inside Woodhouse!🍻

Live bands. DJs. Opera voices bouncing off the walls. Latino Guitar shredders. Afro, salsa, swing, funk, hip hop… from burner energy to Brazilian rhythms. From solo artists holding the room silent to the pounding dance floor. Yoga… you name it!

Moments you did not expect but needed…

We built this space to say yes to a range far beyond just making artisan beverages and bites! We aim to let artists show up fully so our community can experience something new without leaving town. Some nights are loud. Some are intimate. All of them are about sharing cultures and uniting communities, feeding curiosity, and simply helping everyone let go for a few hours!

If you have ever danced here, listened closely, met someone new, or felt surprised by what you walked into, this is for you ✨🔥🫶
