OK so Andy Fuhrman is up here at the winery again today, 2:30 to 5:30.

Some of you know Andy. He's been playing up here long enough that many of you probably found us because of him. He and his Fabulous Friends do all the old stuff... 50s, 60s, folk, blues, classic country, and a few he wrote himself which are damn good too. Half these songs were playing at the drive-in when I was a kid, and Andy plays them like they just came out.

The wine speaks for itself. If it doesn't, come find me, I'll speak for it. I'm not shy!

Come visit our tasting room! Bring whoever you like!

I read online that Stockwells is closing their tasting room at the start of next month. Ten years is a long time in the wine business and we're sorry to see them go.

People ask me how business is. To be honest with you, COVID changed everything. Many people lost the habit of going out and never really came back. Every tasting room in this county has felt it, ours included. And it's not the wine, it's as good as it's ever been!

I think about the old days, people four deep at the bar. We'd be pouring forty at a time and somehow we'd never forget a pour! Half of them were strangers when they walked in, but by the second pour they were part of our ʻOhana. That's something you can't get at home!

So please do us all a favor. Get out to a tasting room in town this weekend. Anybody's. Bring your friends, taste some wine, take a bottle home. If you love the place, join the club. Wine clubs help small wineries through the slow months.

And if you've been meaning to get over to Stockwell, don't wait. We wish them the best.
