SOCKS & SANDALS DAY IS BACK SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7.

And boy oh boy, have we been doing some stupid stuff behind the scenes.

We’ve got FOUR brand new Socks variants dropping, some fresh limited-edition merch, drink specials, case deals, temporary tattoos, and a bunch of other fun lil shenanigans planned at our Santa Cruz, Pacifica, and Alameda taprooms. 📍📍📍

🚨 WE GOT A NEW BIG CHEESE IN THE MIX 🚨

Everybody make some noise for DANIELLE, who is officially promoted to Director of Retail Operations!!! 🍻👏

Danielle is now overseeing all of our taproom, bar, and restaurant operations, along with approximately one million other things that keep this weird little ship floating.

She’s put in the work, knows our spots inside and out, and has been a huge part of making Humble Sea what it is for the past 5+ years and we’re incredibly lucky to have her taking the wheel on the retail side of things.

CONGRATS DANIELLE!!! Very deserved. Very cool. Very Director who thinks la**rs are tight. 🫡🍺

Please congratulate her accordingly, preferably with an unreasonable amount of enthusiasm.

This year we’re taking over Santa Cruz, Pacifica + Alameda, and each taproom is cooking up its own lil S&S Day shindig.

Pineapple, juicy watermelon and red berries up front, with Vic Secret bringing some sticky dankness and overripe tropical fruit into the mix. Big fruit, big fog, little bit sticky icky. 🌫️

Double Decocted Smoked Helles | 4.8%

National Rauchbier Month gave us an excuse to mess with our double decocted Helles. Same crisp, malty goodness, now with a shot of beechwood smoked malt. The smoke is pretty restrained by Rauchbier standards, so if smoked b**r usually scares you off, this is a good one to dip a toe into. 🦶💨

Our beloved Penelope Pils is making her grand return THIS FRIDAY, and she’s had a little recipe refresh while she was away.

We made a few slight tweaks to this crispy little number, dialing in the balance between malty goodness and an assertive hop bite from German Perle, Hallertau Mittelfrüh, and a touch of Saphir.

A big ol’ 15% barrel-aged monster loaded with coconut, ube and vanilla. Dark, decadent, purple-adjacent wizardry in a bottle.

We’ve got a big-ass triple release hitting taprooms tomorrow, featuring one returning brewhouse favorite, one love letter to an old-school hop, and one extremely handsome l***r.

💸 HOP LAUNDERER
Hop Fused Foggy DIPA w/ Citra, Simcoe Cryo & Nectaron • 8%

Back by popular demand from the people who literally make the b**r. Hop Launderer was a brewhouse favorite last year, so we brought this shady little operation back.
Citra, Simcoe Cryo + NZ Nectaron make this thing an absolute grapefruit and pineapple bomb. Big, juicy, foggy and 8%. Your hops have been cleaned. Please don’t ask how.

🐦 HOT GULL SUMMER
West Coast Pale Ale w/ Simcoe & Amarillo • 5.8%

Summer may be trying to leave, but the gulls simply do not recognize the changing of seasons.
We paired Simcoe with Amarillo, an old-school hop that deserves to be taken out of the garage and shown a good time. Expect floral notes, pine resin, tangerine + grapefruit wrapped up in a crisp little West Coast Pale.

Double Decocted Vienna L***r • 5.3%

Sometimes you just gotta LOOK GÜD.

German Vienna malt gives this beautiful golden l***r a graham cracker + honey malt backbone, followed by a noticeable noble hop bite that keeps everything crisp and snappy.

And yes, we double decocted it, because our brewers apparently enjoy making things harder for themselves.

🌵 WILDER RANCH WATER
Hard Seltzer w/ Lime Juice & Agave Nectar | 6.5%

WE FINALLY PUT IT IN CANS!!!!

This sneaky little taproom favorite has been quietly building a fan club while we’ve been busy screaming about hops and obsessing over decoctions. And now, for the first time, you can grab it in glorious portable aluminum form. Inspired by the classic Ranch Water cocktail, Wilder is brewed with blue agave nectar and lime juice for a crisp, bright, ridiculously refreshing crusher with fresh citrus and just enough agave sweetness.

Okay cool, very refreshing, very sophisticated. Anyway, look at this idiot. 👽

👽 GNAR GNAR BINKS
DDH Foggy IPA w/ Mosaic, Krush & Sultana | 6.8%

Look at that name. Look at that label. GNAR. GNAR. BINKS.

We could probably stop there, but fortunately the b**r inside is also extremely sick.

This oat-heavy Foggy IPA gets loaded up with Mosaic, Krush, and Sultana. Krush, formerly HBC 586, has quickly become one of our favorites for its huge berry and tropical fruit character. Sultana brings citrus and a little black pepper spice to balance out the giant fruit pile coming from Mosaic + Krush.
