Two new varieties have officially joined our lineup, giving culinary and beverage teams even more ways to bring the bright, sun drenched flavors of Sicily to the table.

Limonata πŸ‹: a long time favorite made from freshly squeezed Verdello lemons grown along Sicily's Mediterranean coast, delivering a tart, zesty brightness with a clean, effervescent finish.

Aranciata Rossa 🍊: another staple in our lineup, made from Sanguinello blood oranges grown in the volcanic soil of Mt. Etna, offering a juicy, mineral driven sweetness with a rich citrus depth.

Mandarino 🍊: a new addition made from sun ripened Sicilian tangerines, balancing a soft natural sweetness with bright citrus aromatics and a refreshing finish.

Melograno β™₯️: another new addition made from sun drenched Sicilian pomegranates, bold and fruity with a tart, ruby red character that lingers beautifully on the palate.

Founded by Eric and Heather Ward, this family farm grows locally and non-GMO, resulting in a naturally sweet, clean flavor that speaks for itself. With a commitment to harvesting only the freshest corn each day, quality is never compromised. Their season is short and sweet so reach out to your Vesta rep soon to get your order in! 🚚

Alongside them we are also offering premium Brentwood corn in white or yellow, grown in California's Sacramento River Delta where a unique microclimate of warm days and cool nights work together to produce exceptionally sweet, tender corn. πŸ’›πŸ€

Founded in 2021, this farm is built on a foundation of hands-on experience and a deep respect for the land. Crispin got his start in 2014 working alongside seasoned farmers before launching his own operation, and in 2024 his farm expanded significantly, marking an exciting new chapter in his growing story.

Based in Dinuba, California with an additional plot in Stockton, Barron Family Farms cultivates a wonderful range of seasonal produce including stonefruit, cantaloupe, watermelon, cucumbers, blackberries, grapes, Asian pears, and cherries. πŸ‡πŸ‘πŸ’πŸ₯’ Right now we are sourcing apricots, nectarines, peaches, and plums from them, and every piece reflects Crispin's dedication to quality and his commitment to producing fruit and vegetables that chefs can trust on every plate.

Our team had a wonderful time at the West Coast Produce Expo last week! It was a packed and inspiring day that brought together some of the best minds and businesses in the produce industry. πŸŠπŸ…πŸ„β€πŸŸ«πŸ₯‘

From connecting with our vendors and partners to attending thought provoking panels on the future of the industry and North American trade, there was no shortage of great conversations and fresh perspectives.

One of the standout moments was a farm tour with Oasis Date, North America's largest date grower and processor responsible for growing 50% of all dates in the United States and the world's first and only Regenerative Organic Certified date farm. ☝️ Spanning over 5,000 farmed acres across Southern California and Southwest Arizona, their growing practices are rooted in soil health, natural compost, organic fertilizer, and efficient water conservation, all working together to produce dates of exceptional quality. ♻️

We love seeing our Chefs to End Hunger program make a real difference in our communities, and this is one of those moments that reminds us exactly why we do what we do. πŸ’š

Our partner Daily Bowl has been participating in our CTEH program, and their donations are being received and repurposed by the incredible team at Community Kitchens in Oakland Community Kitchens. Community Kitchens prepares up to 5,000 free, nutritious meals each week for some of Oakland's most underserved community members, guided by their principle of Meals With Dignity. The idea is simple and powerful: every person deserves access to high quality food that nourishes both body and spirit. β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

Through partnerships like this one, prepared food that would otherwise go to waste is being transformed into meaningful meals for those who need them most.
