Dropping off leeks for ❤️Check em out! Annie is offering a weekly sign up for a CSA share with produce from several local farms. She is paying farmers market prices and only adding a very small packing fee. This is a lot of work to organize, please support her if you can! Also thank you to for trading me this beautiful mask for greens!

So grateful for y’all! It feels heartbreakingly good to offer a pay what you can option. It seems so important to give what you can generously, and equally healing to receive something valuable without giving money. Plants give so lavishly, in such profusion, and I return their generosity by giving my life and my body to care for them. The commodification of a basic human need, and the prices we assign to food are so arbitrary, determined by environmentally degrading politics and bottom dollar labor. Being able to disrupt that just a little bit, feels so important. But our economic system is no joke, and bills keep a comin. Regardless, I do hope we can continue to incorporate a pay what you can option in the future. Thanks again for joining us in supporting Vegetable Anarchy! All my love, Clare

First seeding of the year! Can you see the beautiful indents of the seed roller concealing and compressing the tiny seeds? We may not be the earliest, but here we are. Also we only use hand tools, which doesn’t really speed it up. No tractor, no engines, all 🩸💧💧

Our first ever CSA member with the first ever share way back in 2018. I hadn’t planned on doing a CSA that year and Jasmine asked me if I would make her a bag of vegetables for $20, so I did. Then wanted one, and .ciro.grassi and a few other friends. Now CSA accounts for half of our sales, and it has been so fun, and connective and rewarding. We are looking forward to seeing our returning friends and meeting our new members at the first pick up of 2020 🖤
