This is an "orange" wine, meaning that it is a white wine that has seen skin contact giving the wine a golden orange hue. Valentine's Day Edition!! There is nothing like a delish port to have with nuts and cheese, or with ribeye (you read that right... ribeye) or with stuffed portabello mushrooms. Port is not just for dessert... it can and does an amazing job with the main course. And this port right here is one of my all time favorites. 10 year old, 93 pts, not sticky sweet at all with notes of toasted hazelnut and caramel with an amazing balanced finished that is clean and smooth. It really is the perfect little port and under $40. This will make your Valentine's Day that much better.
