Visit the Reunity Farm Stand tomorrow, Saturday morning, Oct. 17th, 9am-1pm (1829 San Ysidro Xing, Santa Fe, NM 87507) for fresh, hand-cultivated, Santa Fe-grown produce. Our farmers and volunteers continued to bring in an abundance of crops this week. Spencer, the Farm Manager, reported that we have “a couple new beets ripe this week, and an ample amount of head lettuce as well.” Spaghetti Squash is buy one get one free this week. As part of our food access aims, Reunity Farm Stand proudly accepts: Double Up Food Bucks, WIC, Senior FMNP, and FreshRX too. See you at the Farm Stand!

What an incredible time we had this past weekend at the Inaugural First Annual Artists’ Procession at Reunity Farm. Shoutout to Theater Grottesco () who worked in collaboration with the City of Santa Fe, Santa Fe County, and other local community arts organizations to bring this event to fruition. From the musical performance art, the creative costumes, to the artistry shown in all the floats, these all came together to create a truly unique and memorable experience at the farm. A HUGE thank you to La Fonda on the Plaza () for your outstanding partnership with Reunity’s BioDiesel Used Cooking Oil Collection Program. This iconic Santa Fe destination is one of over 110+ local partners across northern New Mexico who are working together for the environment. In 2025, our collective diverted 41,000+ gallons of oil for upcycling into the renewable fuel source of BioDiesel, offsetting the carbon impact of vehicles on NM roads. Thank you for your dedication to more a sustainable New Mexico!

At Reunity Farm Stand, our fields are overflowing with the very best of the autumn harvest! This Saturday morning, treat your table to the robust flavor of peak-season tomatoes, including Brandywine, Afghan Orange, Harvest Moon, Firebird, Purple Calabash, Rio Grande, Striped German, and our signature Unity tomato, alongside bite-sized Sun Gold, Sakura, Indigo Cherry Drop, and Sunrise Bumble Bee cherry tomatoes. Pair them with fragrant Genovese basil, tender Fairy Tale eggplants, and a colorful mix of sweet peppers like Jimmy Nardello, Gatherer’s Gold, Lunch Box, Shish*to, Nova Bell, and Sonoma Bell.

SANTA FE ARTISTS' PROCESSION

A FREE community event where the creativity and imagination of Santa Fe’s diverse artists will be presented to surprise, engage, delight, and inspire all Santa Feans. Procession participants will be encouraged to use three dimensional art, music, performance, theatre, costumes, puppetry, and any and all other art forms to create a memorable experience. The Artist Procession will begin at San Ysidro Xing with travel to Reunity Resources Farm for a community gathering of artists/installations, along with food, music, and more fun!

A big shoutout to Tender Fire Kitchen () for joining Reunity’s Commercial Food Scraps Collection program! Together, we are ensuring a more sustainable future through upcycling of waste products, like your food scraps, into a nutrient-rich and valuable material of compost at our Soil Yard. Our compost will be used to grow more food in northern New Mexico too. In collaboration with over 40+ local restaurants, 30 area schools, and 650+ local residences, we diverted 1.6 million pounds of food scraps in 2025 away from the local landfill (where it would rot and produce methane gas, which is 28x worse than carbon dioxide in trapping heat in our atmosphere). Now your food waste will contribute to an even larger total this year. Thank you for doing your part to make our corner of the world a more sustainable place to live and thrive!

A massive thank you to Cafe Fina () for being a partner in sustainability with Reunity Resources. Not only do you compost your food scraps (1.6 million pounds of food scraps were diverted from the local landfill in 2025, in concert with 41 other local partners), but you also upcycle your used cooking oil with us too (along with 110+ local partners, 41,000 gallons collected in 2025)! Cafe Fina, your amazing dedication keeps harmful methane gas out of the atmosphere, offsets the carbon impact of cars and trucks on New Mexico roads, and also enables beneficial soil amendments to be crafted for local gardens and landscapes at the Reunity Soil Yard. One of the most diverse produce harvests of the year this week. Come on down to the Reunity Farm Stand this Saturday morning, 9am-1pm (1829 San Ysidro Xing, Santa Fe, NM 87507). We have whole-head lettuce and two new cherry tomato varieties for you to enjoy: Indigo Cherry Drop and Sunrise Bumble Bee. We also picked a good supply of winter squash, Roma tomatoes (ideal for sauce/canning season) and farm-grown pumpkins too!

Our slicing and heirloom tomato varieties include: Afghan Orange, Brandywine, Harvest Moon, Firebird, Purple Calabash, Rio Grande, Striped German, and Unity, paired alongside Indigo Cherry Drop, Sakura, Sun Gold, and Sunrise Bumble Bee cherry tomatoes. Sweet pepper offerings feature Nova and Sonoma bell peppers, Gatherer’s Gold, Jimmy Nardello, Lunch Box, and Shish*to, complemented by Ancho Poblano, Chimayo, and Jalefuego chiles for adding heat.

Fresh summer harvests include Patty Pan and Yellow Crookneck squash, alongside Dunja and Pantheon zucchini. Turning toward cooler weather, we have Cinnamon Girl and Racer pumpkins, as well as Delicata, Honeynut, Red Kuri, Spaghetti, and Waltham Butternut winter squashes. We also have the return of fresh greens like Tendersweet cabbage, Black Magic and Frise Rouge kale, and a lettuce selection of Little Gem, Panisse, Rosaine, and Salanova Mix, along with fresh Genovese basil. Completing the harvest are Provider bush beans, Diva and Suyo Long cucumbers, Fairy Tale eggplant, Red Chesnok garlic, red, white, and yellow onions, Easter Egg and Watermelon radishes, and Purple Top White Globe turnips.
