This cake holds a special place in my heart . Not only was it for my best friends aunt , it was also one of the last cakes my Dad got to see in person before he passed . I remember opening the fridge and showing him. His eyes welled up , he swallowed and you could hear his gulp , and finally he lets out “oh my god sis , that’s exquisite” and he shed a tear .
