Many Moons Festival is tomorrow (Saturday) in Ives Park in Sebastopol!

This is a huge event showcasing AAPI culture. The food, shopping, and performances will be incredible. I will be back on the demo stage doing a dumpling demonstration at 1pm, and we will be sampling and selling chili crisp in a booth all day! Tickets are only $10 if you get them online before tomorrow.

As a Chinese person living in Sonoma County, I will share that it is worth coming just to hear the lion dance drums first thing in the morning 🥹

I’m very proud to be a part of our small but growing community of Asian-led businesses in the North Bay, and grateful that Sebastopol has held this space to celebrate us.

🚀 New recipe!!

Introducing Cool Cat 😎 A medium-spicy chili crisp with lion’s mane mushrooms, organic almonds, and blend of chiles including a feisty purple number called buena mulata that the team at Little Saint Farm was very excited about this year.

Crafted with my gal pal mushroom farmer Amanda Janney of Language / KM Mushrooms. We put our herbalist brains together to create something beneficial for yours. It’s extra tasty AND has a hefty dose of lions mane mushrooms, which have long been a supportive ally for a clear, steady mind.

I’m coming to PDX!!

Next month, I’m bringing dumpling workshops to Oregon. If you’re in the Portland area (or want a peaceful getaway) please join us at jme holub on 9/19 or 9/20! We’ll be making pork and chive wontons from scratch (wrappers, fillings, and all). Next, Jaime will walk you through making your own dumpling dish and chili crisp saucer set that you’ll get to enjoy at home!

We’ll eat a meal together (your own dumplings, all the Hei Ma chili crisp I can fit in my suitcase, and fresh veggies from the farm) on Jaime’s stunning handmade dinnerware.
