Shortcake is following in her mom’s footsteps at being such a patient mom to some wild kids! Shortcake used to be the baby climbing all over her mom not too long ago.

Baby goats will eat anything. They particularly like hair for some reason 😅

All the kids, except for Lily’s, are old enough to be out together now. They are really enjoying it and the moms get to be out grazing all day again!

Lily had twin bucklings! Lily was the last doe to kid so we are done for the year. In total we had 15 kids (3 deceased) and 8 bucklings, 7 doelings. Poppy had twins last night! That makes three kiddings in one day. They are both girls and they both have waddles! Poppy always has the cutest kids and she did not disappoint this year with these ones. There’s only one more goat left to kid and then we are done for the year!

Today was a long day! First May had twins, a boy and a girl (blue eyes) in the first two pictures. These kids are huge and I had to pull the buckling out because poor May couldn’t do it herself. Then Juniper had twins! She had two boys who are also giant but she was able to do it all on her own. To add to the excitement, Poppy lost her ligaments this morning and I expect to see more kids by morning!
